Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs – First Impressions

It’s been a while since i’ve seen a harem/comedy-type show that I actually felt like giving a shot, but  Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs seems like a pretty good candidate. The first episode was rather enjoyable, if a bit fluffy, and i’m actually pretty tempted to see what other shenanigans these dorks get up to. Of course, there’s a lot more to be seen in the show, as the OP indicates, but on the whole, it seems interesting enough.

Ninjas are good civ…

A spiritualist guy moves to a hot springs town on the basis of finding a cheap room to rent, in exchange for an exorcism. However, when he arrives, he discovers that not only is the inn filled with beautiful babes, but the ghost haunting his room also happens to be one. Shenanigans ensue.

Visually, the show looks very nice. A crisp, clean aesthetic complete with bright colors and smooth animation, make the show actually one of the nicer-looking shows of the season. The girls are Moe, the slip-ups cute and funny, and it’s just kind of a happy good time in the show.

Boi I know what you thinkin’

The story doesn’t seem to have much to it… but that’s no surprise, really. And while the OP and ED are good enough, though not stellar, the general soundtrack is kinda below average. It’s a clean, simple, low-difficulty show for those who are looking for some easy laughs and some clean fanservice.

That about concludes my thoughts so far on the show, which i’ll be keeping on my watchlist for a while. Let me know what you guys think of the show so far! Enjoying it? Hating it? It seems like the kind of show that could be a bit polarizing based on taste, so i’m interested to know. Anyways, thanks for reading, and i’ll see you all in the next post!
