Welcome everyone to Day 45 of the 100 Day Anime Challenge! Today’s question is: What is your favorite Anime ED (Ending Theme), and Why? Well, as important as an OP (Opening Theme) is to a show, giving us context and theme for what we’re watching, as well as getting us excited for what we are about to watch, a good ED will add a nice end-cap to an episode, without feeling jarring or out of place. of course, it also has to disguise the credits for the show.
You know what, guys? Recently, i’ve been rewatching Cowboy Bebop, and that show has a great ED. The smooth, jazzy tones of the ED are a perfect release from the rising conflict that the episodes always deliver; it lets us reload and recharge, and something about it makes me never want to skip it. It’s really simple yet pleasing and well-done, and I love it to bits.
My Hero Academia’s first season has a great ED, too, kinda pumps you up to watch the next episode. Guilty Crown had a great one as well, and was able to seamlessly blend the ED into the ending scenes of most episodes. Do you guys have any Anime EDs that you just adore? Let me know down in the comments, and I hope to see everyone again tomorrow!
Currently my favourite ending would be Gintama’s 17th ending :’) I think it’s called Samurai Heart by Spyair. I’ve veen listening to a lot of op/ed from Gintama recently and this has is just one that I like quite a lot :’)

I haven’t managed to see Gintama yet, it’s been on my list for a while, but I’ve never really gotten around to actually watching it.

Really? Hopefully you’ll get round to it because it’s worth the watch! 🙂
