100 Days of Anime: Day 22

I am officially back home! This post is being written in a huge rush to try and get a million post-trip things done, so bear with me for a bit, you guys. Anyways, Day 22 of the 100 Day anime challenge, and the question is: What is your favorite Weapon, Gear, or Armor used in an anime. Well this is a pretty tough question, because so many shows have had such awesome weapons, armor, and everything else, it’s just tough to pick only one. Still, needs must, so i’ll rise to the task.

Now, i’m going out on a limb here today, because my choice is actually a bit radical here, but bear with me. My pick for today is the total repertoire of the famous hero, Samurai Flamenco. He fights with weaponized stationery. LITERALLY! Stapler nunchuks, pen guns that shoot erasers at high velocity, capturing tape, a grappling hook measuring tape, ruler blades, and more are all a part of the package here. It’s not super flashy or particularly cool, but it is a very interesting concept with some great execution and usage, and I really enjoyed seeing it in action.

That’s pretty much all I have to say about today’s challenge, i’m trying to keep these pretty short, after all. What do you guys think about this question? What are some of your favorite pieces of gear from anime, whether they just be freaking epic, or super unique, or what? Please let me know down in the comments, and I hope to see you all again tomorrow!
